Crochet Time

Hi Guys!
Warning! *Picture Heavy post*
Ive been bitten by the crochet bug again. "Oh no!" I hear you say. "Oh yes!" say I! LOL
A few winters ago when I was "bitten" I created , I think it was, 7 afghans in two months, gave them all away as gifts. This time (with the economy what it is and work what it is NOT) I am listing my afghans in

Now I don't want you all to worry. This does NOT mean I've stopped making cards, far from it! But its nice to have a few things cooking at once, it helps prevent boredom from setting in.
So enjoy the change in scenery.:)

And another afghan I had put away half finished some time ago but that I took out and completed.
It's kind of hippie/medieval looking. (Quite the combination, don't you think?)
Anyway, it feels good to finish what you start. :)

For more details, you're welcome to come visit my shop.  Ive had it for a few years but have't done anything with it til now.
See you on Thursday with a new card for Mo's!
Happy Crafting!

Hi Dorcas, what a pretty throw, love what you've made and yes I agree it's good to create other things as well as cards, I'll have something on my blog I've knitted up soon. It's fab to see practical presents as well as cards, love it! Ruby x

You are certainly one talented lady - crotchet is one thing I never learnt to do, I can knit sort of, but much prefer the feel of a pen or pencil in my hand to needles!!
Fab work Dorcas and good luck with Etsy.

Hi Dorcas.
These throws are just gorgeous.
I am very close to finishing the blanket I am crocheting for my Neice, she is due a baby in May so I have done the initial squares (do all mine in little 5x5 squares then join them up) but I have to join then all together and then sew them to baby coloured wadding. Hope it looks nice when it is done!
Your two are just lovely.

Gorgeous Gorgeous Blanket!!! As both a knitter and a crocheter, I know all the time and effort that went into making these.

Debbie

P.S. I too have been bitten by the bug, have been knitting up a storm as well.

Fabulous, Dorcas! These 2 pieces are wonderful! I guess, they were pretty time consuming to crochet,ha?
They seem to be so cosy!!
I´ve been bitten by the crochet bug, too, lately - but my piece is a lot smaller and I haven´t sewn up the ending threads by now...
Enjoy your day!
